anim.plot.canva

class anim.plot.canva(window: window, width=1, height=1, style=None, nrows=1, ncols=1, **kwargs)
__init__(window: window, width=1, height=1, style=None, nrows=1, ncols=1, **kwargs)

Create a Matplotlib canvas embedded in an animation window.

Parameters:
  • window (anim.window) – Parent animation window.

  • width (int, default: 1) – Positive relative weights used by the window grid. A canvas with a width of 2 receives twice as much horizontal space as one with a width of 1 in another column. The same rule applies vertically to height.

  • height (int, default: 1) – Positive relative weights used by the window grid. A canvas with a width of 2 receives twice as much horizontal space as one with a width of 1 in another column. The same rule applies vertically to height.

  • style ({'dark', 'light', 'white'}, optional) – Plot style. By default, inherit the parent window style.

  • nrows (int, default: 1) – Number of subplot rows and columns.

  • ncols (int, default: 1) – Number of subplot rows and columns.

  • **kwargs – Additional options passed directly to matplotlib.figure.Figure.subplots(), such as sharex, sharey, squeeze, subplot_kw or gridspec_kw.

figure

Embedded Matplotlib figure.

Type:

matplotlib.figure.Figure

axes

Single default axes, or an array of axes for multiple subplots (also controlled by Matplotlib’s squeeze option).

Type:

matplotlib.axes.Axes or numpy.ndarray

canvas

Matplotlib rendering canvas.

Type:

matplotlib.backends.backend_qtagg.FigureCanvasQTAgg

view

Qt widget embedded by the animation window.

Type:

anim.core.viewplot
